Low-end powder day Thursday

Summary

Wednesday morning and day will be breezy with a few light snow showers possible. Wednesday night through Thursday morning a weak but moisture-laden storm will cross New Mexico dropping 2 to 5+ inches, with the greatest accumulation in the northern mountains. Friday and Saturday will be calm. On Sunday night and Monday a storm mostly miss New Mexico but could bring 1 to 3 inches favoring the northern mountains. There is a possibility for another storm sometime between December 12 and 16 but current models keep this storm to our east. There are some signals for an active period toward the end of December.
