Summary

Wednesday will start out partly sunny and cold. Around midday, snow showers will move into the northern mountains and hang around until pre-dawn Thursday. Snow will begin in the southern mountains on Wednesday evening and linger through Thursday afternoon. Expect low-end accumulations of 1 to 5 inches. Thursday morning will be the best chance for soft conditions and possible low-end powder. On Thursday night into Friday morning, a weak wave will drop into New Mexico from Colorado bringing a trace to an inch or two of snow in the northern Sangres. Friday will be partly cloudy and cold before things really warm up Saturday and Sunday. Our next storm will impact New Mexico on February 3rd and 4th with low to mid-end snow totals (2 to 6+ inches) favoring the northern mountains. Frigid temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday on the back-end of the storm will drop into the teens and single digits.
