Out with a bang! Pow alert Angel Fire & Taos

Summary

The closing act of the storm cycle delivered an upside surprise of 7" at Angel Fire and 10" at Taos teeing up Thursday for a legit bluebird powder day at these two mountains. Red River, Sipapu, and Santa Fe got only a light refresh for soft conditions, and Pajarito will have pockets of powder leftovers Thursday. The storm cycle has ended with combined totals ranging from 6 to 21 inches. Thursday through Sunday will be dry. The next chance for snow will be a weak system Monday and Tuesday favoring the northern mountains, and then a much stronger storm could impact the state Wednesday, February 19 through Friday, February 21.
