Winter returns with snow, then holiday sunshine

Summary

An active weather pattern with a good shot of somewhat continuous snowfall will be seen later Friday through early Sunday. The snow level may bounce up a bit above the base areas for a short time early Saturday morning, but overall it will be all snow, especially in the alpine upper slopes. There may be visibility and wind problems at times, so beware; this is an ongoing storm pattern. However, there will be partial clearing on later Sunday and especially Monday with some snow showers continuing.
