Weekend snow, then the Big Chill

Summary

There will be a little new snow (trace to 3”) overnight from a wimpy weather system moving through, and weakening rapidly by lunch. Thursday will see a break between storms, and then a more robust system moves in with more substantial snowfall beginning later Friday into Saturday. Saturday has excellent powder potential with respectable new snowfall and low snow levels – near sea level -- for light and excellent quality powder (SL near sea level rare in mid-March 1). Sunday high pressure will move in dragging down very cold air. Bundle up for Sunday, with all ya got – but the sun will feel good. Next week not much snow is seen.
