Snowfall, then cold and sun

Summary

A developing weather system will spread moderate to heavy snowfall over Washington and Oregon for Friday and Saturday. Snow levels will be rock bottom near 500 - 1,000ft. That means great quality snow, but very cold skiing with gusty winds at times messing with the snow with drifting in places. By early Sunday snowfall will end, but the very cold continues but with more sunshine. There is a chance of another shot of snow swinging up from the south on Sunday afternoon. The cold will moderate for the upcoming week as the sun continues and temperatures slowly climb.
