First new snow of the season

Summary

Multiple storms are aimed at us, with lowering snow levels. You will see new snow in the Cascades over the weekend...with more to come.

Update

It's that time. Snowtime!

A series of storms beginning on Friday and continuing into the weekend will bring new snow to the Cascades
Expect to see more than a couple of inches above about 4500 feet by Sunday, so that means the mid and the upper elevations of the ski areas will snow. There is no blocking high with a dry pattern, so the storm gates are open. The best news is the storm track continues to be active into mid-Oct.
