Update

Sunday started off with light snow, then the clouds cleared by midday and the sun and blue skies came out during the afternoon hours. Despite a bit more sunshine, though, temperatures only reached 5F at the summit – I hope you stayed warm!

Monday will bring lots of sunshine. The morning temperature ranges from 15F at the base to 5F at the summit, and the temperature across the mountain should warm into the mid-20s to low-30s by afternoon. Tuesday will also be dry, mostly sunny, and comfortable with a high temperature in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Our next storm will bring clouds and snow showers on Tuesday night through Wednesday. The center of this storm will track to the south of Colorado, so we will likely only receive 1-3 inches of snow. There is the potential for a bit of powder during the day on Wednesday if a few stronger storm cells move over Steamboat.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will then be dry, sunny, and the warmest days of the week with a high temperature in the low-to-mid 30s.

On Sunday and Monday, we have a chance for a stronger storm to track over Colorado, and this could bring a low-end-to-moderate powder day sometime on Sunday and/or Monday.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
