Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

Monday was full of sunshine and much warmer than the previous few days with a high temperature of about 20F on the hill and about 30F at the base.

Tuesday will be similar to or just a bit warmer than Monday with a high temperature that reaches the mid-20s on the hills and upper-30s at the base, along with plenty of sunshine.

Our next storm will track well to the south of Colorado, and thus we’ll only see some clouds and light snow showers from late Tuesday night through Wednesday early evening. Total snowfall on Wednesday should be in the range of a dusting to 2 inches, so this will not be a big storm for Steamboat, though if a stronger cell or two does hit the mountain, you’ll find that a quick 1/2 inch to an inch of snow could accumulate.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will then be dry, sunny, and the warmest days of the week with a high temperature in the low-to-mid 30s.

On Sunday and Monday, a stronger storm will likely track over Colorado, and we have a pretty good chance for at least a few inches of snow on Sunday with an additional few inches on Sunday night. My early estimate for total snowfall is 4-8 inches and the best powder could be on Sunday afternoon or first chair on Monday.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
