Update

Wednesday Recap

We saw 1 inch of snow on Wednesday morning, and then an additional inch fell on Wednesday night. These are not big amounts, but the consistent snow will keep conditions soft!

Thursday and Friday

Expect lots of clouds and maybe some light snow. A coating to maybe 2 inches is my best estimate, with a highest chance for snow from later Thursday through midday Friday. The storm is tracking over New Mexico, which is too far away to bring a lot of snow to Steamboat.

Saturday, Sunday, Monday Tuesday

Saturday will be a tweener day. The storm will be moving away, but low clouds should stick around.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday should be partly to mostly sunny and warmer, especially on Monday and Tuesday when highs could notch up into the 30s.

Next Wednesday and Thursday

We should see a weak system hit Colorado on Wednesday the 12th, with a better chance for more significant snow on Thursday the 13th. Even though it’s still a one week away and the forecast will change, I’d keep your eye on Thursday, December 13th as the next chance for powder.
