Sunny on Friday into Saturday, then snow on Saturday night

Summary

We'll end the week with perfect spring conditions, then there will be a quick round of snow on Saturday night.

Update

On Thursday, skies were perfectly clear and blue, winds were calmer (though still gusty at the summit), and temperatures rose into the 30s and 40s.

Friday will be similarly gorgeous with perfectly clear and blue skies, normal wind speeds, and a high temperature in the 40s.

Saturday will start out sunny and calm, though by afternoon we'll see more clouds and gusty wind speeds.

On Saturday night, a fast-moving storm should drop 1-4 inches of snow, and this should create a few softer turns on Sunday morning, especially on the groomers which will be somewhat free of the melt-freeze crust.

On Sunday, which is closing day, we'll see mixed weather with some snow showers, some breaks of sunshine, some gusty winds, and temperatures in the 20s.

Looking ahead to next week, a storm could drop significant snowfall on Tuesday into Wednesday, but the mountain will be closed. Oh well, so it goes…
