Saturday
The storm on Friday night delivered at or above the forecast range with 9 inches at mid-mountain and 13 inches reported at the summit.
As I write this at 630 am, it appears that most of the accumulating snow has ceased, so what's on the report is likely what you'll find at first chair.
This new snow looks pretty fluffy on the cams, and remember that it fell on top of a harder and crunchy base.
Saturday's weather will be comfortable with a high temperature in the upper teens to low 20s and wind speeds that are much slower than the previous days.
The Next 10 Days
Sunday should be mostly dry with maybe some snow showers late on Saturday night or Sunday (though I think most of the snow will stay to the south). The high temperature will be in the teens.
Monday will likely be dry with a high temperature in the 20s.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are uncertain with chances for snow each day. There could be deeper/softer snow by Wednesday and/or Thursday if things come together just right.
Friday and Saturday (February 14-15) could bring moderate snow totals with potential powder, though the deepest snowfall could stay to the south.
Then from about Monday to Wednesday (February 17-19), one or two additional storms could deliver more snow.
While the details of the forecast for the next 1-2 weeks are still uncertain, there will likely be multiple storms and many days with new snow. We'll take it, and I hope that the forecast holds!
