Update

We are in full-on spring skiing mode, which means that cool overnight temperatures will create a firm snow surface in the morning, and then the snow will soften by mid-morning. Skies are clear over Steamboat now on Wednesday, and as the ridge of high pressure moves directly over Colorado today, we should see few clouds and bluebird conditions. High temperatures should range from the mid-40s on the hill to near 60F at the base.

This stretch of sunny and warm weather will continue through early next week. We will likely see more high clouds from Thursday through Tuesday, though these clouds should not produce any precipitation.

Then snow will return during the middle of next week as a storm moves over Colorado on March 22-23. A few days after that, another storm should bring snow on March 27-28, and then there should be additional storms into early April.
