Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
If you’ve come to Steamboat seeking spring skiing than I have good news: It’s here and it’ll stick around for a few more days! Saturday’s weather should be similar to Friday with lots of sunshine and afternoon high temperatures ranging from the mid-40s near the summit to the lower 60s at the base. Spring Break 2017 is in full effect!
The weather on Sunday and Monday should be similar to Saturday, though perhaps a few degrees cooler. Then we’ll begin to see more clouds on Tuesday and Wednesday, which will be in advance of a storm that will bring snow to Steamboat from Thursday through Friday. At least a few inches of snow should fall on Thursday and Friday, and amounts could be 6+ inches if the storm takes a slightly more southern track. I’ll keep you posted if one of those days looks like a powder day.
Following next week’s storm, Friday night through Saturday night should be dry, then another storm will bring snow from March 26-27, and there might be another storm during the final few days of March as well. Winter will return soon!
