Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

Friday will be another perfect spring day on the hill with sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures reaching into the mid-40s to low 50s on the hill and closer to 60F at the base. Saturday should start out sunny as well, then clouds and the wind will increase during the middle of the day and afternoon.

Snow showers will begin on Saturday evening and should continue through Sunday evening with total accumulation of 3-7 inches. This storm will not pull a lot of moisture into Colorado, but it will bring a wind from the west which is favorable for Steamboat. These factors should even out to some degree, so if you’re looking to ski fresh snow, Sunday should be the best time, on the upper half of the mountain.

Following this storm, most of next week should be dry and warm, and then we could see a storm just in time for closing weekend on April 15-16.
