Thursday Morning, Halfway There...

Summary

We have a break this morning but light snow returns this afternoon, becoming heavy overnight into Friday. Snow showers linger into Saturday morning before we clear out for the weekend. We could see an additional 1-3+ feet of snow on the mountains by Saturday. High temperatures in the 20's on the mountains and 30's at lake level through Sunday. Strong wind gusts this afternoon into Friday. Drier weather Sunday through Tuesday and milder with highs in the 30's on the mountains and 40's at lake level. Then a wet storm could move in Wednesday into Thursday next week. Snow levels could start high above 8,000 feet and slowly fall to lake level by Thursday. Above 7,000 feet a few feet of snow could fall, so we will be tracking this storm closely. We could have a pattern change to drier weather the weekend of the 24th into the week of the 26th.
