Summary

Partly cloudy today (Monday) with some stronger wind gusts up high to 60 mph this morning on the ridges, and lessening this afternoon. Partly sunny weather continues into Thursday with highs in the 40's in the upper elevations and 50's in the lower elevations. Friday we see rain move in and winds increase. Snow levels rise to 10,000-11,000 feet with moderate rain and strong winds for the upper elevations. Heavy rain moves in Friday night into Saturday. Snow levels could crash to lake level Saturday morning. Depending on the timing we could see up to a foot of snow on the upper mountains and several inches down to lake level by evening. The snow showers continue into Saturday night with several more inches possible before the storm moves out. Sunday into next Monday we have a break and then we could see a quick hitting system bring more snow to the mountains next Tuesday.
