Happy New Year, May It Be A Snowy One!...
Summary
- Cold and windy for New Year's Eve with highs in the teens & 20's. Winds gusting over 90 mph on the top ridges causing lift closures. Cold for New Year's Day with highs in the 20's and 30's and winds still gusting to 50+ mph on the mountain tops. - Wednesday through Friday we will have sun, temperatures in the 40's, and lighter winds. - For the weekend we could see moisture work in from the next storm by Saturday night lasting through Sunday night. The models are still not in agreement on the details but we could see several inches of snow on the mountains. - A couple more weakening storms could move through CA the week of the 7th.
