Round 2 Moves In Sunday Afternoon...
Summary
- Light snow showers possible Sunday morning. Then Sunday afternoon into Monday a 2nd system moves in bringing more heavy snowfall. Snow levels rising to 6,500 feet on Monday. We could see an additional 6-18 inches of snow on the mountains by Monday evening, and 2-6 inches at lake level. Mountaintop winds gusting to 50+ mph Sunday morning, increasing in the afternoon into Monday morning likely affecting lift operations. - Tuesday we could see a brief break but the next storm could move in by evening. The next storm for Tuesday night into Wednesday starts with snow levels around 7,000 feet. We could see an additional 1-7 inches of snow on the mountains. Mountaintop winds could still have strong gusts Tuesday into Wednesday. - It looks like we could see drier weather Thursday into Friday, but clouds could hang around along with breezy winds. Highs into the 30's on the mountains and 40's at lake level. - We could see another series of storms from Friday night through the 17th bringing more snowfall to the region.
