3 Storms Over 5 Days...
Summary
- Saturday the next storm moves in during the afternoon. Expecting heavy snowfall during the evening with lighter snow showers Saturday night. We could see 5-15 inches of snow on the mountains bu Sunday morning, and 3-9 inches at lake level. Mountaintop winds gusting to 75+ mph possibly affecting lift operations. - Light snow showers possible Sunday morning. Then Sunday afternoon into Monday a 2nd system moves in bringing more heavy snowfall. Snow levels rising to 6,500 feet on Monday. We could see an additional 6-22 inches of snow on the mountains by Monday evening, and 2-10 inches at lake level. Mountaintop winds gusting to 65+ mph possibly affecting lift operations. - Tuesday we could see a brief break but the next storm could move in by evening. The next storm for Tuesday night into Wednesday starts with high snow levels above 7,000 feet, falling to lake level Wednesday behind the cold front. We could see an additional 2-14 inches of snow on the mountains. Mountaintop winds stay strong Tuesday into Wednesday. - It looks like we could see drier weather Thursday through the weekend of the 12th, but clouds could hang around along with breezy winds. Highs into the 30's on the mountains and 40's at lake level. - The next storm could move in around the 13th-14th with a drier pattern possible after that.
