Wet & Windy 5 Days Ahead...
Summary
- Friday we have increasing clouds and wind ahead of the next storm. Highs in the 40's. Ridgetop winds of 30 mph in the morning could gust up to 40-50 mph by afternoon. - Saturday the next storm moves in by late morning. Expecting heavy snowfall during the afternoon and evening with lighter snow showers Saturday night. We could see 6-18 inches of snow on the mountains. Mountaintop winds could be gusting to 80+ mph affecting lift operations. - Light snow showers possible Sunday. Then Sunday night into Monday a 2nd system moves in bringing the possibility of more snowfall. Snow levels rising to 7,000+ feet on Monday. We could see an additional 4-13 inches of snow on the mountains by Monday evening. - Tuesday we could see a brief break. Then Wednesday another storm moves in with snow levels starting above 7,000 feet and lowering to lake level with the cold front. This storm could bring another 6-12+ inches of snow to the mountains. - It looks like we could see drier weather Thursday through the weekend of the 12th. The next storm could move in around the 14th with a dry pattern possible after that.
