Snowy Weekend Ahead...

Summary

- Wednesday into Thursday we have partly cloudy skies with highs in the 40's. - The next storm moves in by Friday night lasting into Saturday night. Snow levels start around 7,500 feet falling to 6,500 feet Friday night, and 5,000 feet on Saturday. Winds could be gusting to 60+ mph on the mountain tops Saturday. We could see 8-19 inches of snow on the mountains above 7,000 feet from this storm by Sunday morning. - A cold system dropping down from the north on Sunday should keep the snow going into Sunday night. Snow levels dropping down to 4,000 feet. We could see an additional 4-13 inches of snow on the mountains by Monday morning. - A final wave dropping in on Monday could keep snow showers going with a few inches of additional accumulation. High temperatures drop into the 30's Friday and Saturday, and then the 20's Sunday and Monday. - We will watch to see if more cold systems could drop down from the north through the week of the 4th, as we go into a cool/dry pattern.
