Miracle March Is Official...
Summary
- Isolated showers could pop up Thursday with sun & clouds expected. Then a better chance for some sun Friday into Saturday. Light winds. Highs in the 20s on the upper mountains & 30s at lake level, warming into the 30s on the mountains & 40s at lake level Friday into Saturday. - The next system off the CA coast could move inland by Sunday afternoon/evening. That will bring a return of snow to the mountains into Monday. Snow levels may fluctuate between 6000-7000 ft. Above 7000 ft. we could see 1-8 inches of snow. Highs cooling into the 20s on the upper mountains and 30s at lake level. Another system is dropping down the coast Tuesday into Wednesday, possibly continuing snowfall for the Sierra. This system may bring colder air and falling snow levels along with gusty winds. We could see several more inches of snow. - We could see showers continue next Thursday as one system departs and another could be approaching for next Friday. - The active pattern may continue through the end of the month with additional storms moving into CA.
