Big Snowstorm for April...

Summary

- Thursday and Friday we should see mostly sunny skies with highs in the 40s to near 50 at lake level. Lighter winds Thursday. Friday afternoon we could see increasing winds gusting up to 30+ mph over the ridges. - The next storm is expected to move in Saturday morning bringing snow showers into Saturday night. We could see several inches of snow from this system with snow levels just below lake level. Then a stronger storm moves in Sunday with snow into Monday. Snow levels crashing below 3000 ft. Sunday night. 3-day totals of 1/2 - 2 feet of snow at lake level, and 1-3 feet on the mountains. Highs in the 30s. Ridgetop winds gusting to 50+ mph Saturday, 80+ mph Sunday, dropping to 40+ mph Monday. - Sun & clouds with a chance for continued snow showers Tuesday through Thursday. Highs in the 30s on the mountains and 40s at lake level. - We may see a break in storms for the weekend of the 10th-12th, but the active pattern could continue into the 3rd week of April.
