Enjoy Friday, Big April Storm This Weekend...

Summary

- Friday we are expecting mostly sunny skies with highs in the 40s to near 50 at lake level. Ridgetop winds gusting up to 40+ mph. - The next storm moves in Saturday morning bringing snow showers into Saturday night. We could see 1-6 inches at lake level & 3-12 inches on the mountains by Sunday morning. Highs in the 30s. Snow levels near to just below lake level. Ridgetop winds gusting from the southwest up to 80+ mph with strong winds down to lake level. - A stronger storm moves in Sunday morning with snow continuing, becoming heavy Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, with snow showers into Monday. Snow levels between 5000-6000 ft. Sunday, dropping below 3000 ft. Sunday night, and around 4500-5000 ft. for Monday. An additional 3-18 inches at lake level and 1-2 feet on the mountains. Highs in the 30s. Ridgetop winds gusting to 50+ mph Saturday, 70+ mph Sunday, dropping to 30+ mph Monday. - Sun & clouds with a chance for continued snow showers Tuesday through Thursday. Highs in the 30s on the mountains and 40s at lake level. - We may see a drier pattern the weekend of the 10th-12th into the week of the 13th. We could still see weak systems every few days.
