Snow Showers Saturday, Heavy Snow Sunday...

Summary

- The next storm moves in Saturday morning bringing snow showers into Saturday night. We could see 1-6 inches at lake level & 3-10 inches on the mountains by Sunday morning. Highs in the 30s. Snow levels near to just below lake level. Ridgetop winds gusting from the southwest up to 70+ mph by afternoon with gusty winds down to lake level. - A stronger storm moves in Sunday morning with snow continuing, becoming heavy Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. Snow showers continue into Monday. Snow levels between 5000-6000 ft. Sunday, dropping below 4000 ft. Sunday night, and around 4500-5500 ft. for Monday. An additional 6-20 inches at lake level and 1-2+ feet on the mountains. Highs in the 30s. Ridgetop winds gusting from the southwest to 60+ mph Sunday, dropping to 30+ mph Monday. - Sun & clouds with a chance for continued snow showers Tuesday. Highs in the 30s on the mountains and 40s at lake level. Then a better chance for sun Wednesday into Thursday with highs into the 40s and 50s. - We may see a drier pattern the weekend of the 10th-12th into the week of the 13th. Then some weaker systems possible around mid-month.
