Tahoe Daily Snow

Forecast Looking Snowier...
Summary
Sunny and mild today and tomorrow with highs in the 40's. Clouds start to increase as well as winds Wednesday afternoon. Ridge gusts reaching 50 mph. Wednesday night light snow moves in with snow levels below lake level. We could see an inch or two of snow. Then Thursday through Thursday night snow levels rise to 7000 feet. More light precip could bring 3-7 inches to the mountains Thursday and 1-4 inches Thursday night. Friday a cold front approaches with heavier snowfall snow levels look to hold around 7000 feet before falling to lake level by evening. We could see 4-12 inches on the mountains. Then Friday night snow showers for all elevations with 5-11 inches at lake level, and 5-14 inches on the mountains. Over the weekend snow showers may continue. We could see several more inches of snow pile up on the mountains over the weekend. Sunday night into Monday another storm may push in. This storm could bring an additional 6-12 inches across the Tahoe basin. A final weak system may push in Tuesday with a few more inches of snow. By Wednesday the ridge should build over the area with dry conditions for the 2nd half of next week. The weak ridge is still in place the weekend of the 11th, but some precip may be able to push in from stronger storms to our North. A trough in the Northeast Pacific may push closer to the West Coast by mid-month allowing some stronger storms to return beyond mid-month.
