Chilly and Sunny

Summary

We'll see sunshine and chilly temperatures on Tuesday, then we'll warm up with continued sunshine into the New Year.

Update

Monday was sunny and chilly with high temperatures in the single digits and teens, and we'll see the same weather on Tuesday as well.

From Wednesday to next Wednesday, we will be in a calm weather pattern with mostly sunny skies, light winds, and warmer temperatures that rise into the 20s on most days.

Right around the New Year (Dec 31 - Jan 1) we might see some snow from a storm tracking to our south, but chances are low for significant snow.

Then, a few days after the New Year, the weather pattern should shift to one that will bring storms closer to or over Colorado, and our next chances for significant snow could be around January 4-6 and again around January 8-10. This is still 10+ days into the future, so the forecast will change, but at least this longer-range outlook is staying the course with a trend toward stormier weather during the first half of January.
