Calm for now, maybe some snow Sunday/Monday

Summary

We'll have dry and warmer weather through Saturday, then snowflakes could return on Sunday and Monday.

Update

Thursday morning offered soft snow with storm total snowfall of about 5 inches on Wednesday into Wednesday night.

Then the storm moved away and we saw dry and partly sunny weather for most of Thursday afternoon and Thursday night.

Friday and Saturday

Both Friday and Saturday will be dry, partly cloudy, and warm-ish with a high temperature of about 30 degrees.

Sunday and Monday

A weak storm will track to the southwest of Colorado and this will push snow showers across the state between Saturday night and Monday. We could see anything from a few flakes to a few inches of accumulation, with perhaps the best chance of snow occurring on Sunday night into Monday morning. High temperatures on both days will be in the 20s.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

I think the weather will be dry during these three days. Skies will likely be partly cloudy, and the high temperature on each day will again be in the 20s.

Friday and Saturday (January 26-27)

Another round of snow showers could track across Colorado with perhaps a few inches of snow, and temperatures might cool off a bit with highs in the upper teens to low 20s.

The Longer Range Outlook

I think that the final days of January will be dry and on the warm side, and then we might see a stormier weather pattern set up during the first part of February. This is 10-15+ days into the future and forecasts that far out are not reliable, but we can at least look at the data and speculate.
