More snow on the way

Summary

The storm will bring snow to Telluride through Saturday night, so we are looking forward to a few more days of powder.

Update

Thursday

On Thursday, we saw light snow during the day, and then on Thursday night, 5 inches accumulated as the storm strengthened to our southwest.

Friday

On Friday, we are starting with the 5 inches of fresh snow that fell on Thursday night, a we should see another 2-4 inches during the day. On Friday night, there could be a lull in the snow, so there may not be a lot of untracked snow by Saturday morning. The high temperature on Friday will be in the 20s.

Saturday & Sunday

On Saturday and Saturday night, the snow will ramp up again, and we should see another 5-10 inches during this time, with powder on Saturday and also on Sunday morning. On Sunday, the snow could wind down, with just light additional accumulations. High temperatures will be in the upper 20s.

Monday & Tuesday

The weather on Monday and Tuesday should be mixed with some sunshine, some clouds, and some snow showers with light accumulations. The high temperature will be in the low 30s.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

The storm that is stalled to the southwest of Colorado will finally get a move on and will track over Colorado. This could lead to light-to-moderate snow at any time during Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. High temperatures will continue to be warm/comfortable, rising into the 30s each day.

Longer Range

From Saturday, March 23 through the end of March, multiple storms will likely track from the Pacific Ocean through Colorado, so chances are high that there will be multiple days with fresh snow, and perhaps a couple of true powder days as well.

My next update will be Saturday morning.
