The Next 10 Days

Saturday will be another day with sunny skies and cool temperatures. Morning temperatures are in the teens, and the afternoon high will be in the upper 20s.

For new terrain, Saturday's open trail count jumped to 27, and this weekend, openings should include Lift 5 (Polar Queen Express) and Lift 6 (Apex) with access to select runs and terrain in each lift area. Lift 6 will not have access to the See Forever trail yet, so egress will be Woozley’s Way to Lift 5, and out Cake Walk. There will not be access through Middle Boomerang.

Weatherwise, Sunday will also be mostly sunny and dry, and the high temperature will be in the low 30s.

Each day next week will be dry, mostly sunny, and a bit warmer with a high temperature in the mid-30s, and the dry weather should last through the weekend of December 7-8.

Our next chances for snow will be around December 9-10 and again around December 13-14. While the storm track may not change significantly through mid-month, both of these storms may track close enough to Colorado to dust us with new snow.

The good news is that we have a solid base, the low sun angle of early December will help to preserve our snowpack, and more terrain should open over the coming days and weeks.
