Summary

The warm and windy weather will continue through Friday and then a storm could deliver a few flakes on Friday night into Saturday. A stronger storm is possible later next week.

Thursday

Thursday will be dry with a high temperature in the mid-30s and manageable winds that gust to 25-35 mph.

Friday

Friday will be the final day of warmer temperatures and gusty winds. The high temperature should be in the mid-30s and wind gusts could reach 35-45 mph.

Friday Night & Saturday

A storm will bring snow from Friday night through Saturday mid-morning, though most of the snow should stay north of Telluride. With some luck, there will be a few flakes on Friday night and Saturday morning, and accumulations could range from nothing to a coating to an inch of snow.

Saturday's high temperature will be in the upper 20s, and wind speeds will be slower and not an issue.

Longer Range

On Sunday, February 9, expect dry weather.

On Monday, February 10, I think the weather will stay dry.

From Tuesday, February 11, to Wednesday, February 12, there could be snow showers, but the next storm will likely still be to the west.

Then from around Thursday, February 13, to Saturday, February 15, a stronger storm could bring a lot of snow to southern Colorado, including Telluride. This will be the storm to watch, and hopefully, the trend continues to be toward 'more snow'!
