Tuesday & Wednesday
Tuesday should bring dry weather and a high temperature of around 20°F.
Then on Tuesday afternoon/evening, snow should begin to fall, and the flakes will continue to accumulate through Wednesday morning.
There could be 2-4 inches of new snow by Wednesday morning, though this is a tricky forecast as several atmospheric factors will be on the edge of greatness, so there is more upside potential than downside potential.
Wednesday will be cold with a high temperature in the single digits.
Thursday
Thursday should be dry and partly sunny with a high temperature of around 25°F.
Friday & Saturday
A strong storm with a LOT of moisture will bring snow on Friday and Saturday. The wind direction will not be perfect during a lot of the storm, but the high amount of moisture and strong storm energy should still deliver a lot of snow.
On Thursday night, I expect 3-6+ inches of snow, so there should be powder on Friday morning.
On Friday, I expect 4-8 inches of snow, so there should be 'free refills' during the day. Also, temperatures will be warm, so snow quality could be thicker than normal.
On Friday night and Saturday, the wind direction will be favorable, which could lead to an additional 3-6+ inches of snow. Temperatures will cool, so the snow quality should be fluffier.
It should be a fun storm with two powder days.
Sunday
Sunday should be dry with a high temperature in the mid-20s.
Monday & Tuesday
From Monday midday/afternoon through Tuesday, the next storm will bring snow to Colorado. My early estimate is for 4-8 inches of snow accumulation, with powder possible/likely on Tuesday.
Longer Range
Soft snow could linger into Wednesday, February 19, and then one or two storms are possible between Thursday, February 20, and Saturday, February 22.
