Sunday

The recent storm is over and the snow total was 26 inches!

Of this, about 8-9 inches fell on Saturday, and a lot of Saturday's snow fell in the late afternoon, just before lifts closed, and will likely be untouched in areas for Sunday morning.

On Sunday, the morning temperature will be in the single digits and then will rise into the teens to low 20s during the day with sunshine and dry weather. The snow should be soft/fun and untouched and powdery in places. Enjoy!

Storm #1: Monday night to Tuesday

Following dry weather for most of Monday, the next storm should sag to the south and bring snow to Telluride from Monday afternoon/evening through Tuesday morning/midday.

My best estimate is that the mountain will receive 3-6 inches of snow with some powder on Tuesday morning. The temperature on Tuesday will be in the upper teens to low 20s.

Storm #2: Thursday and Friday

Following dry weather from later Tuesday through later Wednesday, the second storm of the week will bring snow from Wednesday night through Friday morning. I have low confidence in the details of this system, and my best estimate is for another 2-5 inches of snow with some powder possible on Thursday.

Longer Range

There should be dry and warmer weather from about Saturday, February 22 to about Friday, February 28. After that, snow may return during the first few days of March.
