Wednesday

Following powder on Tuesday morning, the storm moved away and the skies became mostly sunny.

The dry weather continued on Tuesday night, and now on Wednesday morning, the skis are still clear.

Wednesday's weather will be dry and mostly sunny with a high temperature in the 20s.

Thursday & Friday

On Thursday and Friday, the next storm will bring snow to snow to Colorado.

I have higher confidence that snow totals will be in the 5-10 inch range due to a high amount of moisture plus storm energy that will track directly over the state. I also have higher confidence that the most snow will fall on Thursday night into Friday morning.

I still have low confidence about where the higher snow totals will fall.

This means that there is a chance for some new snow on Friday morning and higher-end 5-10-inch totals are possible with some luck. So keep your eye on the snow stake on Thursday night to see how this works out. I might have more confidence in the track of the storm and the location of the most snow by the time of my next forecast on Thursday morning, though no guarantees as this storm has not been handled consistently by most models.

Longer Range

From Saturday, February 22 to Sunday, March 2, there should be dry weather with high temperatures in the 30s. A storm might bring some snowflakes and cooler temperatures around Wednesday, February 26, but other than that, high temperatures should be in the 30s with sunshine on most of these days.

Further ahead, the next higher chance for snow will be around and after March 3.
