Sunday Recap (Mar 2)

Sunday was sunny and warm with a high temperature in the 40s.

Storm #1 (Mon-Wed)

Monday will start with dry weather and a temperature in the 20s to low-30s.

On Monday afternoon, snow showers will arrive.

On Monday night, intense snow should fall.

Then, on Tuesday, snow showers will continue during the day and likely into Tuesday evening.

The total snow accumulation should be 4-8 inches, with untouched powder on Tuesday morning and conditions remaining soft on Tuesday due to the additional snow showers. A few models do show 10+ inches of snowfall, so we could hit the higher side, but I think the 4-8 inch range is more realistic.

The only downside about this storm is that the base is rock hard following a week of warm weather, so it'll take a lot of snow to fully soften the terrain.

Wed (Mar 5)

Wednesday morning could offer additional untouched snow if snow showers hang around on Tuesday night.

Aside from this, Wednesday will be dry and mostly sunny with a high temperature of around 30°F.

Storm #2 (Thu-Fri)

The second storm of the week should deliver snow from Wednesday night to Friday night.

This storm will track near or across Colorado in multiple pieces, so I have lower confidence in the forecast. I'll stick with an initial estimate of 4-10 inches, with Friday likely offering the best chance for powder.

Longer Range

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (March 8-10) will be dry, with a high temperature in the 20s on Saturday and in the 30s on Sunday and Monday.

Then, there should be a storm around Tuesday and Wednesday (March 11-12), with another storm later in the week around Friday to Sunday (March 14-16).
