Saturday Recap
On Saturday, 2-3 inches of snow fell during the day, and then on Saturday night, another 1-2 inches of snow accumulated across the mountain.
Sunday (Mar 16)
Sunday morning's snow will be soft due to the flakes that fell on Saturday and Saturday night.
Weather-wise, lingering clouds in the morning should give way to mostly sunny skies, and the temperature will rise from the teens into the upper 20s.
Monday (Mar 17)
Monday will be dry, with mid and high-level clouds filtering the sunshine. The high temperature should be in the upper 30s.
Tuesday (Mar 18)
On Tuesday, snow should fall during most of the day, with 3-6 inches of accumulation and softening conditions. Then, on Tuesday night, the storm will continue with another 3-6 inches of snow. Tuesday's temperatures should be in the 20s.
Wednesday (Mar 19)
It should be a powder morning on Wednesday due to the snow that fell on Tuesday and Tuesday night. Clouds and snow showers could linger through the morning, then the midday and afternoon hours should be drier with a high temperature in the upper teens to low 20s.
Thursday (Mar 20)
Thursday should be dry and a little warmer, with a high temperature of around 30°F.
Friday (Mar 21)
A fast-moving storm on Thursday night should deliver 1-3 inches of snow by Friday mid-morning, and the temperature on Friday should be in the 20s.
Saturday & Sunday (Mar 22-23)
The weekend will likely start with drier weather on Saturday morning, and then there could be some snow from midday Saturday through Sunday.
Following Week (Mar 24-28)
On Monday and Tuesday, storm energy will track just to the north of Colorado, but any impact should stay north of Telluride, and the entire week should be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the 30s to low 40s.
