Saturday will see 3-6cm of new (overnight Friday) in the alpine. There may be minor snow in the Village as the snow levels plummet. Expect a cool Saturday but clearing with increasing sunshine.

On Sunday it will be cold and sunny, but starting to warm. Strong high pressure builds in for the rest of the week producing a dry, sunny and warming weather pattern. I don’t see much change for some time. This is a high confidence forecast. The first respectable snow melt of the spring will be seen in the lower elevations below 1,000 meters later in the week as it warms.
