Update

Snow began to fall on Monday evening and the mid-mountain snow stake camera shows that 4 inches accumulated by Tuesday morning (the official snow report says 3 inches). This new snow might be deep enough to make conditions soft on the north-facing slopes that are not groomed, though I think that you'll likely find the best conditions on the north-facing groomers as it's hard to beat a few inches of fresh snow on top of the corduroy.

On Tuesday morning, snow showers should come to an end and we’ll see plenty of sunshine with temperatures rising from a morning low of about 15F to an afternoon high in the upper 20s to low 30s.

The next chance for snow will be from Wednesday midday through Thursday afternoon. Yesterday, it appeared that most of this snow would fall on Wednesday night, but now it looks like this storm will bring a more extended chance for snow during a 36-hour stretch. I still think that we’ll see snow totals of about 3-6 inches by the end of Thursday, and Thursday will be the best chance to ski at least a few inches of soft powder.

Following that storm, we’ll see dry weather for Friday and Saturday, then the next extended chance for snow will be from Saturday night through Monday morning, though I do not have much confidence in the details and snow totals could range from just an inch or two or perhaps more than 6 inches.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
