Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
Wednesday morning is warm, with temperatures near freezing on the mountain. We’ll see clouds this morning, then from late morning through afternoon, skies should be mostly sunny with temperatures warming into the upper 40s and low 50s.
Thursday will start out dry and warm, then the next storm will push a few showers into the area by the afternoon.
On Thursday night, a cold front will move through, and we'll see snow not just on Thursday night, but on Friday during the day, and Friday night as well.
Each of these periods (Thursday night, Friday, Friday night) could bring 2-5 inches of accumulation, with the best chance for more snow than the forecast on Thursday night due to more moisture and the stronger storm energy.
Temperatures will be chilly, in the teens, so expect snow down to the base. The snow quality should be reasonably light and fluffy, though stronger winds could make the snow more dense in exposed areas.
Skiing powder will be fun all-day on Friday, with powder in the morning from Thursday night’s snow, and additional snow through the day. On Saturday morning, you might find the deepest and softest snow due to the extra snow on Friday night, but the issue with Saturday morning is the sun that might return as the clouds clear. Energy from the high sun angle of April could turn the powder into mush by mid-morning on Saturday. Let’s hope that the clouds linger!
After that, Sunday and Monday should be dry, with a chance for light snow on Tuesday, April 17th, and perhaps a stronger storm later on Friday and on Saturday, April 20-21st.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
