Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
Thursday morning is remarkably warm with temperatures that never hit freezing on Wednesday night. Readings will be in the 40s for most of the day along with very strong winds, gusting to 30-50mph during the middle of the day and the afternoon.
On Thursday afternoon, we could see a few showers, and then on Thursday night, a cold front will move through, bringing snow and dropping temperatures to the 20s and eventually to the teens. My snow forecast for Thursday night is 2-5 inches, though this is the part of the storm that has a good chance of bringing more snow than the forecast due to a lot of moisture in the air and the jet stream overhead.
You’ll find powder on Friday morning, with an additional 2-5 inches of snow throughout the day. Then a final wave of snow should bring another few inches on Friday night, so Saturday morning’s snow could be the deepest and softest during this storm. Get after the snow early on Saturday as the sun will come out and the energy from the sun will quickly turn the new powder in
Dry weather will return on Sunday and Monday (April 15-16), then the next storm should bring 3-6 inches on Tuesday, April 17th.
After that, a stronger system may drop snow on Friday and Saturday, April 20-21st, which would be perfect timing for a powder day on Saturday before Winter Park closes on Sunday, April 22nd.
Oh, and did you hear? It was just announced that Mary Jane will be open through Sunday, May 6th!
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
