Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
Monday will be dry and warm with mid-and-high-level clouds. The morning temperature is already 30-35F and we should see readings rise into the upper 40s.
Following the dry weather on Monday, the next storm will bring 3-6 inches of snow from Tuesday midday through Wednesday morning. You'll find softer conditions on the groomers on Tuesday afternoon, and by Wednesday morning you’ll find a bit more snow. While this is a strong storm, and temperatures will drop into the teens on Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night, the system will lack moisture, which means that snow totals will be limited.
The second storm of the week will bring plenty of moisture, so snow totals could be significant! Expect snow from Thursday night through Saturday morning (April 19-21). I now have more confidence that the track of this storm will bring a wind from the east, extending from 5,000 feet all the way up to 30,000 feet. This depth of the easterly wind is a good thing and should allow significant snow to get up to and over the continental divide, which is where Winter Park is located. We could see 10-20 inches of snow from this storm, with the deepest powder on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Then the snow will end at some point on Saturday.
Winter Park closes on Sunday, April 22nd (Mary Jane will be open through Sunday, May 6th!), so this Friday/Saturday storm will be your last chance to ski pow on the main mountain. Good timing, eh?!
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
