Update

The storm came through as expected on Tuesday and Tuesday night. Temperatures dropped from the 30s into the teens, and we picked up 4 inches of snow, with 3 inches accumulating by about Tuesday at 4 pm and an additional 1 inch on Tuesday evening.

Now on Wednesday morning, the temperature ranges from 17F at the base to 7F at the summit and you should find soft snow on the groomers. Enjoy!

Wednesday’s weather will be sunny with highs in the mid-30s, and Thursday will also be dry with a few more clouds and highs in the mid-40s.

The next storm is still on track to bring snow from Thursday late night through Saturday afternoon. Between Thursday night and Friday midday, we might see just a few showers and mostly dry weather. Then snow should intensify by Friday midday or afternoon, and the snow should be the most intense on Friday night through Saturday morning, with snow showers continuing through Saturday midday or afternoon.

The best time to ski powder will likely be on Saturday morning with 6-12+ inches on the ground and more falling through the first half of Saturday. While temperatures will start warm on Friday, they will cool into the upper teens and low 20s by Saturday morning, so I think the quality of the powder will be good for your Saturday morning.

So, keep your eye on Saturday morning as this could be the last cold powder day of the season!

As a reminder, Winter Parks' last day of the season will be on Sunday, April 22nd and Mary Jane's last day will be Sunday, May 6th.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
