Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Winter Park Daily Snow

Update

Thanks for reading the Winter Daily Snow during the 2017-2018 season!

Here is how the snow fell by month, compared to average:

November: +2%
December: -17%
January: -25%
February: -4%
March: -5%
April: +86%

In other words, it was an incredibly slow start, then the atmosphere gave us more hope later in the season, and we ended on a high note.

Even with well below-average snowfall for the season, the mountain was open, we enjoyed powder days, and the total snowfall was some of the best in Colorado!

Also, don’t forget that Mary Jane will stay open through Sunday, May 6th. If you’re planning to ski the Jane, you might find a little bit of fresh snow on Tuesday, April 24th, and there might be a stronger storm around May 1-2.

I hope you have a great summer, and I’ll see you back here in November when I start writing the Winter Park Daily Snow for the 2018-2019 season.

Thanks so much for reading and for your support of myself and OpenSnow.com!
