On Sunday, we enjoyed sunny and warm weather with high temperatures in the 30s.

Today on Monday, expect a bit of every type of weather. We will see sunshine and winds will be strong throughout the day with gusts of 30-60+ mph and this could slow or stop some lifts from running. We’ll likely stay dry through the day with showers beginning late in the afternoon or during the early evening.

From Monday evening through Tuesday morning, we should see 2-6 inches of snow accumulation. This snow requires just the right timing of a cold front moving through while the jet stream moves overhead. If the timing is off by just a little bit, we’ll see accumulations on the lower end of the forecast range, and if the timing is just right, we could see more than 6 inches.

For Tuesday, the morning’s first turns could be fun especially on the groomers and shaded and/or north-facing terrain. The rest of Tuesday could bring a mix of sunshine and a few showers and chilly temperatures in the teens and 20s.

On Wednesday, look forward to sunny weather with high temperatures in the 20s and 30s.

From April 1-5, we will see dry weather, mostly sunny skies, and warm temperatures with afternoon highs in the 40s. It will feel like springtime and snow conditions should be crunchy and firm in the morning and then rapidly soft by mid-to-late morning.

Our next chances for snow will be around April 6-7 and April 12-13 as pieces of a storm along the west coast move east toward Colorado. If the storm energy that makes it into Colorado is stronger, we could see more snow during these times. If the storm energy is weaker and/or tracks to our west, we could see little to no snow. Overall, the first half of April looks like it will be mostly dry and warm though there will be a few chances for snow before closing day.
