Winter Park Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Winter Park Daily Snow

Snow Tuesday night, powder on Wednesday morning

Summary

Tuesday will start dry, then snow showers will develop in the afternoon with intense snow on Tuesday night. Double-digit powder totals are likely by Wednesday morning.

Short Term Forecast

Reminder: The Winter Park side is closed, and Mary Jane will remain open through Sunday, May 9.

Monday was dry, and Tuesday morning is also dry, but the storm is coming.

Expect snow showers to develop by Tuesday midday and afternoon, then we should see steadier and more intense snow on Tuesday evening and Tuesday night.

By Wednesday morning, snow totals could be 10+ inches and we could see snow continue to accumulate through Wednesday mid-morning. Due to warmer temperatures in the 20s during the storm, the powder quality could be medium to a bit thick, but the snow should still be very fun to ride.

Extended Forecast

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we’ll see dry weather. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the 40s, then Friday and Saturday will be warmer with high temperatures in the upper 40s to mid-50s.

I will wrap up my daily updates of this Winter Park Daily Snow on Friday, April 30th. But with significant snow possibly returning on May 3-4, I will keep an eye on that storm and write an update if there is powder potential.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
