Snow returns on Wednesday

Summary

Monday and Tuesday will be dry, then we should see accumulating snow on Wednesday.

Update

Sunday was a gorgeous day with blue skies and comfortable temperatures that topped out in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Monday and Tuesday will also be dry with high temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s. The only wrinkle is that there should be high clouds that filter the sunshine on Monday afternoon and during the day on Tuesday.

Our next snowfall will occur from late Tuesday night through Wednesday night. During this time, a storm will wobble its way near or across Colorado and enough decent factors should come together to bring us some snowfall, though snow totals will likely not be significant. The best chance to see accumulating snow will be Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night, and amounts should be in the 3-7 inch range. The time with the freshest powder and/or softest turns will likely be Wednesday's last chair and/or Thursday's first chair.

After this midweek snow, we will see dry and mostly sunny weather on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the teens on Thursday and then rise into the 20s and 30s from Friday through Sunday.

Looking ahead, there is a high chance that snow will return during the afternoon or night of Monday, February 21, with snow possibly sticking around through Tuesday, February 22, and even Wednesday, February 23.
