Snow begins on Wednesday evening

Summary

Tuesday will be another sunny and warm day, then Wednesday will be windy with snow arriving in the evening.

Update

Good Tuesday morning!

Tuesday's weather is going to look a lot like Monday's weather (image below!) with mostly sunny skies, windy conditions at the higher elevations, and generally calmer and warmer weather (highs in the 40s) near the base which is where the open terrain is located.

On Wednesday, expect windy weather ahead of the incoming storm, then snow should begin on Wednesday evening with intense snowfall for a few hours as the cold front moves through. Later on Wednesday night and throughout the day on Thursday, we'll see snow showers.

Total snowfall from Wednesday evening through Thursday evening should be in the 3-6 inch range, and the timing of the storm should mean that there will be some powder on Thursday morning with soft conditions persisting throughout the day thanks to continued snow showers and cold temperatures in the teens.

Looking into the longer-range forecast, temperatures will stay near or colder than average through the middle of November, but snowfall chances will be skimpy with just low chances for storms around November 15 and then sometime around November 20.
