A final round of snow on Saturday

Summary

Light snow fell on Friday, and now on Saturday, the final storm of the week will deliver snow showers during the afternoon and evening.

Update

Friday

I had low confidence in the forecast on Friday and Friday night, and we squeaked out about 1 inch of snow during the day on Friday. This should keep conditions soft on Saturday morning.

Saturday

Morning conditions should be a little soft based on the snow that fell on Friday, and temperatures are chilly with readings in the single digits.

Weatherwise, Saturday will be a mixed day with drier conditions in the morning, then more clouds and snow showers will arrive between about noon and 8 pm. I expect light snow with 1-4 inches of accumulation during this time, though maybe the atmosphere will bring a little bonus snow. The high temperature should be in the teens.

Sunday

Sunday will be sunny and dry. The temperature in the morning will be cold, around 0°F, and then it'll warm into the teens.

Monday - Thursday

I think most of these days will be dry with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the 20s. There will be more clouds and snow just to our north, and if this moisture sags to the south, we may wind up with light snow and more clouds during parts of the week.

Friday & Saturday

On Friday and Saturday, there is a higher chance that the clouds and snow to our north will sag south and bring us some flakes. I have low confidence in the forecast and I'll be providing updates all week. The high temperature during this time should still be in the 20s.

Longer Range

From Sunday, February 18 through Sunday, February 25, multiple storms will cross the Rockies and move close to or over Colorado. I think this should bring multiple rounds of snow, though this potentially stormier period is still more than one week away, so we'll wait at least a few days before trying to figure out the details of storm timing and snow totals.

My next update will be Sunday morning.
