Monday

There will be powder on Monday morning with 8 inches at mid-mountain. Most of this snow fell after lifts closed on Sunday and will be fresh on Monday morning.

On Monday, there should be another 4-8 inches of snow with temperatures in the teens.

Monday Night

On Monday night, snow should continue with 4-8 inches of accumulation. While a negative factor will be the jet stream sagging south of the mountain, positive factors include cooling temperatures and a favorable wind direction, and these should keep the snow going.

Tuesday

Tuesday should start as another powder morning, and snow showers could add another 2-5 inches of accumulation during the day, with temperatures in the upper teens 20s.

Tuesday Night

The forecast for Tuesday night is tricky. The storm will be moving away and data shows little additional snow, but lingering moisture, cooling temperatures, and the jet stream overhead might coax the atmosphere to produce a few additional fluffy inches of snow accumulation.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, conditions should be soft due to the snow on the previous days, and if there is some new snow on Tuesday night, that'll be a fluffy bonus on top. Otherwise, Wednesday should be dry with a high temperature in the 20s.

Thursday & Friday

On Thursday and Friday, the next storm will bring snow to snow to Colorado. I still have low confidence in the forecast and my best estimate remains in the 3-8 inch range with possible low-to-medium powder on Thursday and/or Friday.

Longer Range

There should be dry and warmer weather from about Saturday, February 22 to about Wednesday, February 26. Then there will be a low-ish chance for snow around Thursday, February 27, and Friday, February 28. After that, snow may return during the first few days of March.
